Who can use it?? YOU!

When is it open?

Highlands Church Library is open on a self-serve basis whenever the church is open. On Sunday the library is staffed before the services; some Sundays a library display table is set up at Coffee Hour.

During the week, enter the church by the doors near the church office (office hours Mon-Fri 9am-4pm). You can get to the library either through the Sanctuary or through the Lower Hall and up the stairs to the Narthex.

Why a Library Ministry?

  • To encourage healthy reading and viewing by children, youth and adults.

  • To nurture spiritual growth, develop our understanding of the Christian faith and the faith of others, support healthy relationships, increase awareness of social justice issues.

  • To provide a selection of resources to support staff and volunteer leaders in children's ministry, youth and adult discussion and study/action groups, committees, boards, and church outreach.

Borrowing Period

Books: 3 weeks
Videos: 1 week

How to Borrow: Follow the simple instructions on the sign on the library desk.

How to Return: A Return Box is located on a table inside the library door. Place returned items there - it is checked several times a week.
